Kenetha J. Stanton

Former Interim Associate Director

Kenetha J. Stanton served as the interim associate director of the New Media Project beginning in April 2014 and was formerly the research/administrative assistant for the New Media Project, which was previously hosted by Union Theological Seminary in New York. She currently serves as the events manager for Christian Theological Seminary.

Prior to joining the New Media Project, Kenetha was an Instructional Technology Specialist at Butler University's Center for Academic Technology, where she supported faculty, staff, and students with the incorporation of technology, including social media, in the teaching and learning process. Part of this role involved performing research on the ways in which social media and other web 2.0 technologies are transforming various career fields, including journalism, marketing, education, public relations, and the hiring processes used by many companies.

She has a Masters of Library Science from Indiana University, an MS in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University, and was a certified project manager (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. She also has training as a proofreader and copyeditor using the Chicago Manual of Style.
