Research Fellow Lerone A. Martin joins the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics

Research Fellow Lerone A. Martin will join the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the 2013-2014 academic year. The Postdoctoral Research Associate position offers dedicated time for research and writing and full participation in the intellectual life of the Center.

Prior to joining the Center, Martin was Assistant Professor of American Religious History and Culture at Eden Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, MO where he taught courses in American and African American religious history. After his year at the Center, Martin will join the faculty of Wake Forest University as Assistant Professor of African American Religions.

Martin has been a research fellow with the New Media Project for the last two years. His writing has focused the history of American religion and media.
